Angela: We are walking along the A465 on the Abergavenny Road, using Tesco's and a Shell filling station as our stop off points - not quite as enjoyable as the weekend and our rest day!
The weekend started with a ceilidh in Worcester then followed a night at Canon Frome Court, a community run farm outside Ledbury.
Canon Frome was an amazing experience. It's an old manor farm that has been adapted to make 18 different flats. The residents run the farm collectively and also grow their own produce in a wonderful walled garden.
The farm is a good example of the link between community and the environment.
If people lived in closer communities there wouldn't be the same need for large houses because their homes all incorporate shared space and of course the carbon output of these communities would be less than their spread out counterparts.
Protecting the environment and living in closer communities are very closely linked and we should strive for both.
Dear Angela and all the marchers - we loved having you here at Canon Frome - it was a privilege and an inspiration to meet you all. We're with you in spirit on the rest of your journey - keep on singing!
