Stuart: One of the hardest things during the march for me has been missing so much of Neighbours on TV! However the past couple of nights I have been lucky enough to be able to watch it.
One of the things I like best about Neighbours is the theme tune which has the refrain ‘Everybody needs good neighbours’.
Hearing the hallowed tune for the first time in weeks got me thinking - in terms of climate change, are we being good neighbours?
Is it very neighbourly to burn more than our fair share of carbon to the detriment of our brothers and sisters from around the world?
If we were to reduce our carbon emissions then maybe that will be when good neighbours become good friends.
