They made it!

80 days, 1,000 miles, they made it! Yesterday the Cut the Carbon marchers finished their historic march in London.
Thousands of campaigners joined them for the final mile from City Hall to St Paul’s cathedral for a rally and celebration service.
Thank you to the marchers and to everyone who made the march possible along the way. The march has ended but the campaign continues – please email your MP now. Ask them for a tougher Climate Change Bill.

Marchers reach London!

The marchers reached London yesterday and they were on the lunchtime news!

Today, they've been to Lambeth Palace for a House of Bishops meeting, then to Downing Street to hand in their demands. This afternoon, they met Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London and his deputy Nicky Gavron.
