Neil: On Thursday, in Shaftesbury, we walked down Gold Hill, the cobbled street made famous by the Hovis ads which was great.
Later, we nearly had a disaster when one of the electric vans began to smoke. There was a short in one of the wires, everyone quickly emptied the van of its contents and by the end we were surrounded by a confusion of suitcases!
Simon and I were surrounded by food which we thought was more important to save - we made sure we got our priorities right!
At the pub quiz that night, the marchers A team won – the team consisted of Rachel, Stuart, Fraser and me. We won by a mile.
We enjoyed the Christian Socialist Movement service yesterday at the Labour party conference in Bournemouth. The Prime Minister Gordon Brown attended.
We got soaked yesterday, the first time in weeks! We also found out that the heather has turned a month and a half early – another sign of climate change.
